What is Chemical Wellness?

The body’s chemistry is influenced by what enters it and what is released in its effort to maintain a state of balance, called homeostasis. You are what you consume and what your body absorbs from the environment. The body is masterful with detoxifying systems if they are adequately supported.

4 TIPS FOR CHEMICAL HEALTH

VEGGIES

Eat your veggies! Try to make them 40% of your food consumption. And don’t forget to chew your food 20-30 times per bite. Healthy digestion starts with chewing.

HYDRATION

Start your day with water. It activates your metabolism and gives your cells much needed hydration after a night’s sleep. Each day, drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces (i.e. 150lbs = drink 75 oz. of water).

BONE BROTH

Try fasting. Drink bone broth for 24 hours. To make it easier, eat a healthy breakfast and lunch then drink bone broth for dinner. Continue bone broth for breakfast and lunch the next day, then eat a salad for dinner.

MINDFULNESS

Eat away from your desk and technology. This removes distraction and allows for mindfulness when eating. Mindful eating allows you to taste and enjoy your food, and know when you’re full.
