What is Mechanical Wellness?

The physical body is influenced by how and how often you move. Extended periods of pain are harmful to your body performing optimally. By the time you feel pain and discomfort you have likely had an issue for quite some time. Pain is your body’s way of getting your attention.

4 TIPS FOR MECHANICAL HEALTH

SLEEP POSTURE

Improve your sleep posture by using a pillow with proper neck support. Avoid sleeping on your stomach or with arms over your head.

MOVEMENT

Be active – move! Take at least 8,000-10,000 steps per day. Support good circulation and improve flexibility by stretching for at least 10 minutes daily.

WHILE SEATED

Pull your shoulders back and engage your core. Avoid sitting on your wallet. If you typically carry it in your back pocket, it’s time to relocate it. Be sure to stand, stretch and move every hour.

CHIROPRACTIC

Get regular chiropractic adjustments to keep your nervous system – the body’s information superhighway – working properly, improving all functionality in the body.
