What is PsychoSpiritual Wellness?

The interconnections between the mind and spirit influence the body in ways that are undeniable and not fully understood. Emotional and spiritual blocks can stress the body creating pain and dysfunction.

4 TIPS FOR PSYCHOSPIRITUAL HEALTH

SELF-CARE TIME

Put yourself on your calendar. Spend 30 to 60 minutes planning your well-being for the week. Plan and schedule your meals, exercise, family time and self-care. Make yourself a priority and try to give yourself at least 2 hours of alone time.

YOUR TRIBE

Have dinner with your significant other or someone in your “tribe” at least once a week, just the two of you. Listen and let them share. Be present.

FAMILY TIME

Carve out ten uninterrupted minutes every day for each of your children or your furry family members. In those 10-minutes make sure to listen to them. Sometimes the best way to love is to listen.

GRATITUDE

Give thanks. At the end of each day write down one action, situation, person, or moment for which you are grateful. Acknowledge and celebrate what’s wonderful in your life.
